Crown Point Farmers Market

Over 70 vendors offer fresh summer produce, local meats, baked goods, artisan products, and prepared foods. Note that this Saturday the market closes early at 12:00 PM (noon) instead of the usual 1:00 PM. August is peak harvest season in Indiana, so expect sweet corn, tomatoes, peaches, melons, fresh herbs, and much more at their absolute best. Rockopelli Music Fest: Crown Point

The Rockopelli Music Fest returns to Bulldog Park in Crown Point on Saturday for its 15th annual charity music festival. Gates open at 3:30 PM and the show starts at 4:00 PM. Rockopelli Inc. is a volunteer-based nonprofit that raises funds for music scholarships for students in Northwest Indiana and other local charities. The festival features live music from Midwest and national artists. The event is open to all ages, and kids 12 and under get in free with a paid adult ticket.
